The Daytona 500 is one of the most iconic sporting events in the United States. The NASCAR event is held every year at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. According to NASCAR.com, it has served as the opening race to the NASCAR season every year in February since 1982. The event is a five-hundred-mile race where the NASCAR drivers battle it out to see who will be crowned the winner of the most iconic race in NASCAR.

According to beyongtheflag.com, The starting positions were decided through qualifiers that were held on February 9th and February 13th, where the field of forty cars was cut down to thirty six for the official race. According to cbssports.com, some exciting racers to watch out for are Joey Logano, who has the best odds to win, Brad Keselowksi, Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, and Chase Elliott. Another promising racer is Kyle Busch, who now has two wins on NASCAR’s top circuit after winning the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
